As the partner of Johann Most, one of the most infamous anarchists of his time, Helene Minkin had a unique behind-the-scenes view of crucial episodes in revolutionary history. Most of what we know of this period has remained fairly static for close to a century. In particular, little in the way of new primary sources have found their way to publication.
