Drawing on his own experiences as a refugee at the Kakuma camp in north-eastern Kenya, Yilma Tafere Tasew has here brought together a diverse group of refugees, scholars, activists and professionals to each give their own perspective on the topic of African refugees across the world. The collection also includes an autobiographical contribution of his own, which is as heartfelt as it is blunt and revealing.
