As soon as they turned sixty-five, Bonita (Bunny) and Frank Nickerson retired, left their home in the care of their daughter, and bought a used Winnebago. Then they hit the road for what they hoped would be the cross-country bucket list trip of a lifetime. The plan: to visit as many National Parks as possible, starting with Yosemite. But plans go off course when their RV hits a bump in the road...After bickering for miles along winding desert roads, they finally reach the Happy Trails RV 'Resort' located just outside of Yosemite National Park. When Frank hits a large speed bump on the way in, he thinks nothing of it. The next morning, Bonita discovers a matted golden doodle. But the stray dog's sudden interest in the dark smudge on the RV s front bumper makes Bonita wonder if the speed bump from the night before might've been something else altogether. When the police come knocking about a longtime RV resident's sudden death, the Nickersons must race to get to the bottom of the mystery, and hopefully clear their names along the way - before their road trip comes to a dead end...
