Thanks to the mysterious gift of the half-Aeldae, Niri and her companions have achieved a small miracle: ascending from the Tower of Beggars to the Tower of Gold. This structure promises a whole new world of knowledge and learning and serves as the home of those Aeleven wealthy enough to afford the Academy's every luxury. Yet, no sooner have the friends returned from distant Xul-Baaril to start the new academic year than they discover that even with pockets full of gold, one cannot ward off the threat of the Eternal Beast or the subterfuge of a powerful noblewoman. Torsten Weitze is one of Germany's most successful fantasy authors with over two million copies of his novels sold across multiple formats internationally and a loyal readership that has propelled the Stormfell Academy books onto national bestseller lists in Germany and cemented his status as a major commercial force in the genre. This is the first time Torsten's books have been printed in English.
