Alain Baxter is Britain's leading skier and the only Briton to have won a Winter Olympics medal. After a 15-year climb up the rankings, Baxter caused the biggest upset at the 2002 Winter Olympics by clinching Britain's first ever skiing medal. Agonisingly, the ecstasy was short-lived. He failed a routine drugs test and was stripped of his medal. Baxter fought to clear his name and won, but the IOC refused to give his medal back. This is a story of determination, often against outrageous odds, and of his desire to once again reach the top of his competitive field.
