Anna's familiar isn't the only special cat in Portsmouth. When Anna takes Alastair to see the local veterinarian (who also happens to be a witch), they meet her most famous patient, Attitude Cat, spokes-feline for a national pet food brand. But then the veterinarian turns up dead and the valuable spokes-cat goes missing. It seems like the murderer was aided and abetted by magical means, so it's up to Anna and Alastair to catch a killer and corral a kitty before the fur really starts to fly.
