This work is the first to concentrate on Iron Maiden's early years, and their first four albums (plus the rare Soundhouse Tapes). Formed in Leyton, East London, in 1975, by bassist Steve Harris, they went through loads of line up changes before eventually finding charismatic singer Paul Di'Anno. Covering this in depth will be of great interest to fans as Di'Anno (convicted of benefit fraud in 2011!) is still remembered fondly by hard core supporters, although he was sacked in 1980 due to his fondness for the white powder. The band looked set for success with debut record Killers.
