This anthology of comics offers an intoxicating and compelling sampling of works from Scandinavian countries. Jenni Rope tells a minimalist tale of heartbreak, Peter Kielland's 'Mr Pig' has an eventful day, while Crumb-esque artist Christopher Nielsen of Norway boils all of life down to an eternal journey up the 'Escalator'. This represents a small smattering of the creative, entertaining and original comic concepts to be found in Kolor Klimax. The work of pioneering Scandinavian alternative cartoonists is beautifully presented.
