About the book
Soundwalk is a New York-based sound collective founded by Stephan Crasneanscki, composer for the film All the Beauty and the Bloodshed by Laura Poitras with Nan Goldin, winner of the Golden Lion 2022 at the Venice Film Festival. They have made several albums with Patti Smith and also recently worked with Charlotte Gainsbourg. They also received the Audie Award for their collaboration with Afrika Bambaataa in the Bronx and the Dalton Pen Award for the Sonic Memorial Soundwalk (2012) with Paul Auster at Ground Zero in New York.
