The spy Sobat has managed to deliver key tactical information on Antrim, Bard's territory, to enemy kingdom Haurelia. Haurelia's vast army takes up arms and advances on Antrim. In addition to a punishing frontal attack, Bard must grapple with a dissident movement in his own realm. Will he be able to protect his citizenry, vassals, and loved ones - or is tragedy about to unfold?
