The catalogue of artworks and essays from the exhibition SPace: Currencies in Contemporary African Art, which took place at Museum Africa, Newtown, Johannesburg in July 2010. Curated by Thembinkosi Goniwe and Melissa Mboweni, SPace featured 25 artists, 4 art collectives and 6 writers whose work provided creative and intellectual dialogue concerning social matters and human experiences in contemporary Africa and the Diasapora. Featured artists included Willem Boshoff, Berni Searle and Berry Bickle. Collectives include Chimurenga.
