For more than five years New York based photographer Arlene Gottfried was a member of the Eternal Light Community Choir, a New York gospel choir who she had first seen at a festival held in an abandoned gas station in New York's Lower East side. This collection of photographs is a truly unique record of the life of the choir taken by one who became fully involved in every aspect of the lives of its members.
