Jean Blacklock has loved baking since she was a child. While she found professional success as a lawyer and then as a wealth manager for a major bank, Jean always felt that her true career calling was to open a bakery. Luckily for cupcake addicts everywhere, the first Prairie Girl Bakery opened in downtown Toronto in 2011.
