In December 2011, a female corpse is found in a forest in Ludwigsfelde, a small and peaceful town south of Berlin. The victim is Brigitte Scholl, 67, cosmetician and wife of Ludwigsfelde's former mayor Heinrich Scholl. While the police look for the murderer, parents forbid their children Lto leave the house, while local joggers change their usual trails, away from the woods. But when the police arrest the victim's husband, the town is shocked. Is Heinrich Scholl a cold-blooded killer? The Scholl Case is a gripping story about marriage, sex and politics.
