Peter Parker's troubled teenage life encounters more problems as a new villain, the deranged Doctor Octopus, arrives on the scene. Spider-Man also becomes the unwitting prey of Kraven the Hunter plus Spidey's deadliest enemy, the insane Green Goblin, returns to torment him and the wall-crawler is framed for a crime spree he didn't commit.
