About the book
From the godfather of paparazzi culture comes a deeper and more probing collection of work than ever before. In search of his Italian roots, he takes the reader on a journey combing his vast archive of images for icons of Italian descent. His tour begins in Rome with Fellini, via Rosellini, Brando, Bellucci and Loren. The appeal and power of his beautiful photography is complimented by extemporaneous quotes amassed during his travels and spoken by a sparkling cast. A celebration of Italy - it's cinema, music, art and fashion.
