About the book
DCI Ambrose Patterson, Moss Side's finest, returns in this stonking new thriller that finds him back with the Greater Manchester Police after a year's sabbatical working with the NYPD. Life seems a lot tougher than when he left and the turf war for control of the drug trade has resulted in 13 dead and earned the city the nickname Gunchester'. Using methods learned in the Big Apple, Patterson hits the streets with a vengeance but when the headless body of a top white politician is found in a local massage parlour, he realises it's not just the drugs that he has to watch out for.'
