- KISS THE WHIP
Four acclaimed purveyors of fantastic fiction collide in a pulp inferno of black magic, torture and sexual depravity. Bloch's The Skull of the Marquis de Sade was first published in Weird Tales and later filmed as The Skull. Jean-Paul Denard's Jacqueline, Daughter of de Sade dates from 1968 and is a classic example of the underground porno press of that era. Richard Matheson's De Sade (novelised by Henry Clement) comes from the screenplay for the wild 1969 film of the same name. Jeremy Reed's When the Whip Comes down depicts De Sade as an immortal debauche.
