NBM is a leading critically acclaimed independent graphic novel publisher showcasing the diversity of comics from North America and Europe. WE HAVE OVER 200 GRAPHIC NOVELS AVAILABLE including: Fiction (Louvre collection, etc.), Satire (Dungeon, Ted Rall, etc…), Mystery (Rick Geary’s Treasury of Murder), Eurotica: top erotic comics from Europe and the US, including Omaha the Cat Dancer, Kevin Taylor, Cornnell Clarke. Inspired by the success of the graphic novel concept in Europe, where, in France, one book in five sold is a graphic novel, Terry Nantier decided to import this concept to the U.S. in the seventies where comics were stagnating. He started NBM in 1976. Acceptance only came very slowly but NBM finally started taking off significantly past the mid-eighties. It has grown steadily since to become a leading indie comics press and one of the most highly respected houses in what has become known as ‘literary comics’.
