Bitter Lemon Press is focused on literary crime and other quality fiction from faraway places, and, through its new imprint Wilmington Square Books, on nonfiction titles to include travel literature and cultural history .The fiction list is meant to provide books for one’s travels, uncovering the darker side of places one visits, written by prize winning local authors. Novels written in English have been added to the fiction list by such as writers as debut novelist Elliott Colla and the best selling Indian author Anita Nair. Wilmington Square Books will launch its list in early 2014 with a travel book about Italy by Francis Russell and a collection of letters from Ian Hamilton Finlay, the noted Scottish poet, sculptor, gardener and controversialist, to Stephen Bann.
