In the late seventies, Newcastle's Kicking Theatre company ran a play by its resident playwright, Cuff. Then, one night, at a party to celebrate what may the company's final production, a stranger crashes the party. The memory haunts him still and when his new friend Mr Khan is attacked by hooligans it seems like the wheel of fortune has turned against Ham one more time.
